train to Girvan (29m), then Stagecoach West bus 58 from Girvan
(Station) to Stranraer (Port Rodie, supermarket at foot of pier, 9
mins walk from ground) at 1213, takes 71 mins. A return journey on
Stagecoach West bus 360 leaves Port Rodie at 1734. Also Stagecoach
West bus 500 from Dumfries (Station) to Stranraer (Port Rodie);
infrequent, there are journeys from Dumfries at 0905 and 1125, takes
2½ hours, and return journeys at 1705 and 1930.
